(1) Honor the Military Men and Women
This goes without saying, but we’re saying it anyways! Thank and show respect for veterans who have sacrificed so much. You can do this by writing a letter or calling someone, visiting cemeteries, or even going to a Memorial Day Parade. It will truly make their day and remind you the reason for this holiday.
(2) Find a Lake
I bet you saw this one coming, especially from us. Whether it’s your own lake, or a friend’s, get out there! There’s even over 10,000 you can choose from. We may be bias, but there’s nothing better than spending time jumping in lakes, swimming in lakes, fishing in lakes, boating on lakes, basically ANYTHING on lakes!
(3) Time to Break Out the Grill Again
To all the dads and avid grillers out there-your favorite season has arrived-grilling season! It’s time to break out the grill again this weekend and have a real American BBQ.
